Sara was diagnosed with cancer during the Covid pandemic at age 31. She began writing poetry during chemotherapy as a creative outlet. This led her to connect with other young women that had experienced cancer and opened up many doors of opportunity.
After residing in Hamilton for over 10 years, she and her husband longed for a small-town lifestyle and they made the move to Kingsville. They now reside in a small home close to Lake Erie with their cat, Maui.
