My name is Judy Gauthier and I was born in Saint John, New Brunswick. I grew up in Windsor and always had a love of drawing and painting.
I earned a degree in Studio Art from the University of Windsor. As a school teacher for many years, I always told my students "This is art...you can't make a mistake!" Of course that made them free and unafraid when they were drawing and painting!! I tell myself the same thing and try to keep that spirit of freshness and fearlessness in my drawing and painting.
I work in all media and especially enjoy acrylic and oil painting. I do consider myself, first and foremost a "draw-er".
