I am a self-taught collage and fibre artist, specializing in “paper paintings”.

After retiring in 2018, I started dedicating time for the sole purpose of creating art and exploring many different types of art media; such as, acrylic painting, pour painting, paper mâché, air dry clay, and wreath-making, to name a few.

In 2023, I rediscovered the art of collage which is very compatible and blends well with fibre art and mixed media.  Since then, I have been passionate about creating art that includes reclaimed items, as well as, lots of textures, happy colours and patterns. A big part of my process is hunting for treasures that compliment my “paintings”. My style is to blend abstract and realism into a one-of-a-kind pieces of art. The more intricate and exclusive the creation, the more I enjoy the process.

I also have a love for owls and “hides” one in all of my “paper paintings”. See if you can spot one. Some are harder to find than others. I am dedicated to continue learning and creating art that is both vibrant and unique and hopes that my art will stir emotions and memories, spark joy, and create a sense of wonder!

This is my art story. I hope it will inspire others to create a unique story/style of their own.
