I’ve been drawing and painting since I was a child. My parents enrolled me to study with Art Gallery of Windsor director and curator Ken Saltmarche, who encouraged me to pursue my talent and studies.

After high school I attended The Art School for the Society of Arts and Crafts in Detroit (now called the College for Creative Studies) as well as the Ontario College of Arts in Toronto.

Besides visual arts, I have had a love of singing since I was a teen. I studied operatic voice in Toronto with the Royal Conservatory of Music. I now sing in two choirs: the Oasis Choir for Women, and the Windsor Symphony Orchestra Choir.

My husband and I live in Windsor and have two adult sons. In addition to painting at my home studio, I also sketch and paint at locations across the region as a member of the Windsor and Essex County Plein Air Artists.

I love beauty. I paint what I love in water, colour, and oils.
