Christy Litster is an artist and illustrator located in Leamington, Ontario. She is an award-winning painter, instructor, and muralist. Christy has had the privilege to complete projects for corporate and municipal clients and has been awarded numerous grants. A few of her most notable clients have been the City of Windsor Mayor’s Office, Art Windsor-Essex (Formerly The Art Gallery of Windsor), the Town of LaSalle, the Town of Kingsville, and the Town of Essex.
In 2020, she was awarded the Mayor’s Arts Award for Individual Artist for her volunteer work promoting underrepresented artists. As a painter, her passion is to vibrantly capture the delicate harmony of the energetic and natural worlds. After her cancer diagnosis in 2016, Christy was inspired to help people with their healing journeys by teaching expressive, intuitive art practices. At the House of Sophrosyne in Windsor, she brings art therapy workshops to women in addiction recovery.
